St Aelred of Rievaulx Catholic Church in Harrogate is a welcoming Christ-centred community, in which the Gospel is proclaimed, lived and celebrated.
We are a Eucharistic community, worshipping and honouring the Holy Trinity through Christ, present in the sacraments and the Word, Caring for each other spiritually, pastorally and socially. At the same time we strive to support the worldwide church with prayer, finance and personal work.
Our work is extended to other Christian communities where we seek to be a presence of Christ witnessing to all we meet. We try to nurture the faith, knowledge and gifts of individuals in the parish as they respond to the call of Christ, whilst maintaining the resources of the parish so that they support its mission now and in the future.
Extended Parish Community
Our parish (St Aelred's of Rievaulx) is closely associated with St Mary's parish, Knaresborough where Holy Mass, the Sacraments and Celebrations are shared.
